Smile Help save Skiers rights

We are working on a pier issue in Ft. Lauderdale,
It will affect the rights and safety of water skiers and tubers.

The Homeowner has been working hard to put a 100' pier out into a ski area.
The rights and safety of recreational users should take precedent over the request of a homeowner to build a extra long pier out into this ski area. This pier will be longer then
any approved pier in the area. THe safety concern becomes more of an issue when multiple boats are pulling tubers and skiers. This pier will limit the space to turn around.

Sorry for the late notice I just found out on Friday that Florida DEP will
be accepting letters from recreational users on this issue this week. So by Friday.
Comment was last year, but permit wasn't approved yet

This affects one of only 2 ski areas left in Ft. Lauderdale this one is on the South Middle River.
